5.0 from 97 Google reviewsIn New York, the building decides half the job
Most renovation problems here are not about tile. They are about approvals, permits and logistics, settled before the first wall comes down.
The board signs first
Co-ops and condos approve your renovation through an alteration agreement. We prepare the contractor’s side of the package (scope, schedule, license and insurance certificates) so it goes through without a second round.
Permits follow the scope
Paint and new fixtures in place rarely need a filing. Moving plumbing or gas, or changing walls, generally needs a DOB filing by an architect or engineer and licensed master trades. We tell you which applies at the estimate.
Logistics are part of the price
Freight elevator slots, permitted work hours, protected hallways and neighbors who need notice. We book and plan all of it, so the building is glad to see us back.

What clients wrote on Google
5.0 from 97 Google reviewsBilly and team are absolutely incredible. They helped us transform our apartment from something generic into something spectacular, assembling an all-star team for electrical work, stonework, painting, and tiling. They dealt diligently and patiently with our stringent condo board and all the paperwork required.
Billy and his team did my full apartment renovation on 95th St between Amsterdam Ave and Broadway. Their service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. I am very happy to recommend MCG to others.
Billy Loka and his crew were beyond expectations. A complete gut renovation in 3 months is unheard of. He was always available and on top of every aspect of the job. He gave me advice which led to a perfect experience and a home we're proud to live in.
How a project runs
-
Walkthrough and estimate
Billy visits, measures and asks what you want the space to do. You receive an itemized written estimate, not a ballpark.
-
Approvals and planning

-
Construction
Work runs inside your building’s hours with common areas protected and the site cleaned daily. You get updates without having to chase them.
-
Inspections and walkthrough
Required inspections are passed, the punch list is closed with you, and the building receives its close-out paperwork.
